Octobre 2026

Since the end of 2025, we have been operating entirely independently, without any grants or subsidies. Our own revenue is the only thing that allows us to run the venue, fund our programming, cover our overheads, and support our staff. We are pioneering an independent and committed club culture.

Thanks to you—our patrons, artists, and partners—we have become the 21st "Club Culture" in France. This label from the Ministry of Culture recognizes our legitimacy as a space for artistic expression and nightlife. As the only recipients of this label in the Grand Est region, we join peers such as Le Rex in Paris, Le Sucre in Lyon, and Macadam in Nantes.

We wanted to thank you once again for your support, whether through ticket purchases, drinks at the bar, the events you organize with us, or simply by introducing the venue and our programming to others. Every visit, every message, and every contribution counts!

We are still — like most cultural clubs — searching for a model that allows us to offer free, innovative, and inclusive programming.

On one hand, this ambition comes at an ever-increasing cost; on the other, we are aware that for many of you, budgets are tightening. We are constantly looking for solutions to this equation.

For the start of the new season and the upcoming 2026/2027 year, we are refocusing on what makes us unique: club culture and serving as a platform for everyone.

NEW FORMATS

The formats offered to meet these objectives are as follows:

  • COMBO CLUB, a 2-in-1 event, free and open to all from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM every Thursday, featuring happy hour, food options, and a downtempo selection to wrap up the day and kick off the night, followed by a dancefloor format in the club.
  • KOLLECTIV, a co-curated proposal with our local partners, collectives, labels, and festivals. Every Friday, they invite you to discover their world during an extended event. It starts with a free, open-access "before" from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring happy hour, food options, and surprise DJ sets in the bar or concerts in the gallery that tie into the second part of the evening—a moment to connect and meet before the weekend buzz. Then, from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM, the collective takes over the gallery to roll out their artistic vision, with access via various options: subscription, presale, or at the door (3 price tiers: reduced, standard, and support).
  • KLUB CAMINA, every Saturday, electronic music lovers, artists, and collectives gather around a diverse, inclusive, and committed club program. One club, two dancefloors!
  • SUNDAY CAMINA, one Sunday a month, from 4:00 PM to midnight, the local cultural scene takes center stage on a 360° central stage with spatialized DJ sets using the new Ambrio mixer. Pay-what-you-want entry from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM—support your local scene!
  • COMMUNITY, from Sunday to Wednesday, with no fixed dates: thrift sales, tattoos, designer markets, dance or yoga classes, wellness workshops, screenings, record fairs, and benefit events. Let’s propose meetings and projects together that serve our communities! Send your ideas for shared events to >> event@karmen-camina.eu!

These formats use different pricing structures to keep our programming as accessible as possible. Thursdays remain free for now; Friday and Saturday prices have increased by €1, still featuring opening rates and the 3 solidarity price tiers for presales and at-the-door tickets, with no proof required. Bar prices remain unchanged, with happy hours on Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

All ticket and bar revenue, as well as space rentals, help fund the venue's operations, salaries, overhead, loans, and programming.

We are following the Support Your Sceneapproach initiated by Macadam in Nantes to present our main revenue and expense categories to you graphically.

FOCUS CULTURE CLUB

In 2026, club culture is at a turning point. Across Europe, clubs are facing rising costs, and cities are seeing their alternative venues disappear: in Berlin, the scene rallied this month around a simple slogan, STAY CORE. The Clubcommission champions a DIY, determined, and defiant club culture. But it is also reinventing itself. The model of the generic party is fading in favor of venues with strong identities, driven by their communities. Ways of going out are diversifying: early-evening "befores," sets designed for listening, and parties where people come primarily for the music and the connections. The dancefloor remains a political space, reflecting the marginalized groups who created it. This is precisely what we stand for at Karmen Camina: a multi-genre club and a platform where collectives, artists, and audiences build together. Being a cultural club today means staying free, uncompromising, and open to everyone.

See you on the dancefloor!

Another new feature for the start of the season: our specialty coffee shop and coworking space is becoming the go-to spot for pre-party drinks with later opening hours. The menu is evolving with new cocktails, and Karmen Kafett will now welcome you on Thursdays and Fridays starting at 5:00 PM, for the end of the day and before the night begins.

Our new hours:

Thursday: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM*

Friday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM / break / 10:00 PM - end*

Saturday: 11:00 PM - end*

Sunday > Wednesday: closed unless there is an event

*hours may vary depending on the program

We stand in support of those fighting in the streets despite violence and repression. High school students, public service workers, and activists. We are by your side!

PROGRAMMATION

With summer over and new formats on the way, October marks the real start of the season for Karmen Camina.

The Musica x HEAR x Karmen Camina partnership takes on a punk edge this year with lectures, a radio show, and concerts! Plus, the return of Dingue 2 Toi for the first weekend of the month.

We’re following up with our second free-access Combo Club, featuring a techno-groove special with Koboyo and a Klub Camina minimal house / deep techno night with Anthea, Oshana, Joey 808, and 1client!

From October 15th to 17th, we’re hosting the stars of 31 Hz on Thursday, Berlin’s Toy Tonics for an Italo-disco / house Friday, and on Saturday, DJ Aya in the gallery with an Euroidol line-up in the club featuring Cannelle Double Kick!

The following week, Ordinaire takes the helm for Thursday’s free Combo Club, followed by the two-day October Tone festival on Friday and Saturday starting at 7 PM!

Finally, for the fifth weekend of the month—and it’s a big one—we’ll have the Zygomatic and Kozystorm crew warming things up at Thursday’s Combo, the Sinial team on Friday with special guest Lola Haro, and on Saturday, Klub Camina: our uncompromising, multi-genre club culture night, featuring Bitter Babe and WICKED GIRLS aka Louisahhh & kimifromtheinternet.

BONUS: A horror-themed ball with Euromax and Jeanneto aka ROUTE FACHÉE at the Opéra du Rhin on October 30th from 8 PM to midnight—stay tuned!
