A healthy and caring party space is built together, between a venue and a crowd. For a free and joyful night, take care of yourself, of your friends, and pay attention to others and to the space you take up.

If you are the victim or witness of an abnormal situation, or if you see someone who is not doing well, come and find a member of the team. We are watchful and we are here for you. We believe you.

Inside the party spaces

• No photos, no videos: to respect the freedom and privacy of everyone in the venue, the artists' performances, and to keep attention on the experience itself.
• No discriminatory behaviour or speech, such as racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, ableism and the like, will be tolerated.
• Zero tolerance applies to all oppressive, harassing, violent and inappropriate behaviour or speech.
• Consent is required in absolutely every situation, not only when flirting. Consent must be freely given, informed and enthusiastic.
• Consumption should be measured and conscious, so that you are always able to look after yourself, your friends and others inside the club. The team reserves the right to stop serving you and is also there to help.
• Bare torsos, regardless of gender, are tolerated on the dancefloors only. Active attention is nonetheless expected to respect other people's space and comfort.
• Tags and stickers are not allowed, to preserve the building and respect the teams' work.

Safe team

• A member of the Karmen Camina team, trained in harm reduction, acts as the safe team contact. You will be told who they are when you arrive.
• Do not hesitate to turn to them if you experience a problematic situation (violence, harassment, discrimination and so on) or if you feel unwell.

Two rooms from 11pm to 6:30am. Upstairs, the gallery room: a dome of around thirty speakers, a bespoke spatialised system designed with Cym Acoustics, a French manufacturer. On the ground floor, the club room: a Danley Sound Labs system, built for electronic music.

Karmen Camina is a hybrid cultural venue, collective and alive, housed in the former Manufacture des Tabacs in Strasbourg. A place for encounters, freedom, creation and expression, open, with a commitment to ecological and social progress, to sound and visual creation, and to every form of experimentation that builds something in common.

Karmen Camina is run by the Tiers-Lab cooperative, made up of independent entrepreneurs and creatives from the alternative cultural community of Strasbourg. Decision-making power is shared between the cooperative's members. There is no majority shareholder.
