Four hours of Munich in the gallery. Two brothers born into the city's club culture, running a benchmark label for almost twenty years, unfold a techno that veers into breakbeat and ambient without ever losing the groove. To open, a house duo between eclectic selection and percussive sets.
Meanwhile, the club spins out on purpose. A B2B born between Strasbourg and Metz: trance, hardcore breaks, a pop punk voice at the heart of the rave, and a firm intention to miss the right exit.
Rare sound system: a dome of some thirty speakers, designed with Cym Acoustics, a French brand.

Dario and Marco Zenker were born into Munich's club culture: their aunt helped run Ultraschall, the city's seminal techno club, and the brothers went on to build Ilian Tape, the label they have run since 2007 and one of the most respected homes of the international techno underground, where techno, breakbeats, drum & bass and ambient feed off each other.
Four hours in the gallery to travel the whole map: rich textures, dubby grooves and deep machine funk, with the human touch that made their reputation.
Dario, the elder, was the first to step into Munich's electronic scene in the late nineties, his first turntables a gift at fifteen. Marco, raised on hip-hop and reggae, joined after watching him play in 2006. The label was born the following year with long-time friends, first as a platform for their own productions; the four-handed sets started in 2012.
Four hours is not a slot, it's a format. Time to build slowly, to play the records you can't play in an hour, to bring it down and start again.

pacôme orzi. A founding member, resident DJ and curator at Karmen Camina. Their multi-genre collection reflects a broad artistic vision, with past creative projects including collaborations with dancer Agathe Tarillon, multi-instrumentalist Stéphane Odrobinski and audiovisual artist Aliaksandra Yakubouskaya.
Itaho. A musician with a background in experimental music and a former jazz drummer, Itaho cut her teeth on the rave scene and in underground circles. With a keen ear for the malleability of sound, she delivers percussive, fluid sets where hybrid bass and organic textures come together. Now a resident DJ at Z·est Radio and at Karmen Camina, and involved in numerous collectives, notably Tu mixes bien… pour une fille and Diaspora, she champions a more inclusive and socially conscious club culture.

Trance anthems, hardcore breaks and heavy bass that make the walls shake. The road is never straight; chaos is never far away. We might have taken the wrong exit, but we promise, it's worth the detour.
EUROMAX DJ. Euromax DJ makes the darkness shine like a black sun; his trance fills us with emotion and carries us away to the planet of dreams. The atmosphere becomes boundless, bodies let themselves go, and hearts race. The energy rises, everything vibrates, nothing can stop us.
JeanneTo. A pop punk voice crashing into the chaos of the rave: pounding bass, drum blasts, saturated synths pushing the wildest 90s sounds to their extremes. Somewhere between an intimate diary and protest slogans, she doesn't sing alone: there's a crowd around her, and you're part of it. Back in the club after her first night at Karmen Camina last May.

Karmen Camina is a hybrid, collective and living cultural venue, located in the former Manufacture des Tabacs in Strasbourg. A place of encounters, freedom, creation and expression, open to all, with a commitment to ecological and social progress, sound and visual creation, and any form of experimentation that brings people together.
Karmen Camina is run by the Tiers-Lab cooperative, made up of independent entrepreneurs and creatives from Strasbourg's alternative cultural community. Decision-making power is shared between the cooperative's members. There is no majority shareholder.
